British Swim School of Clifton Sport & Fitness

British Swim School always seems to find patient, wonderful people as their instructors. We originally went to the Harrison NJ location. The only reason we stopped was because the pool was closed for renovations. My wife found there was a location in Clifton and it has been just as excellent an experience. My son has both autism and ADHD; communication is difficult for him. Every instructor he has worked with has taken these challenges in stride. I cannot recommend British Swim School, and specifically this location, enough. You will not be disappointed!

My son has had a wonderful experience with the swimming lessons. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and have helped him build both confidence and swimming skills. We’ve seen great progress and would highly recommend this program to other families.

The instructors are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, they point out mistakes clearly and offer practical ways to improve your swimming. The facility is well‑organized and very clean, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build confidence and skill in the water

Words cannot fully express how wonderful this swim school is. The instructors are highly knowledgeable, patient, and informative, creating a supportive environment for children to learn and grow. One of my children has already completed the program, and another has recently started, and we’ve had a great experience with both. I highly recommend this swim school to family and friends. It is absolutely worth it, especially for the safety and confidence it provides my kids.

We've tried multiple swim schools in the area, including big blue swim school and safe splash, but British swim school has been the place our daughter has done the best. We do Sunday classes and the teacher student ratio is great, she gets a lot of attention and has become much more comfortable in the water. The teachers are all very nice and knowledgeable, pushing us out of our comfort zone and getting our daughter to learn more. The tadpole pool is warm and inviting and unlike the other schools it's not a roped off section of a bigger pool with way too many babies squished in line sardines, which was our experience with big blue swim school.
